The same Malkoff Devices heads that we use on the Arisaka 300 and 600 Series Lights are now available as stand alone upgrades. Malkoff Devices does not build lights to the Surefire standard, IMO he exceeds it and certainly exceeds it in terms of value. My thoughts are that the Malkoff head is great to upgrade a scout light you might already have. It wasnt' that bright and I wasn't sure how long it would last anyway.
