Special Agent Pendergast ist die Schöpfung der beiden US-Autoren Douglas Preston und Lincoln Child.
I've to date read three Pendergast horror-fiction-mystery novels. Preston wrote about that discovery in his 2017 nonfiction book,
From the scene of the gala opening of the exhibit to the finish, the authors take us on a thrill rode featuring trapped visitors trying to escape in unmapped tunnels, attempts to kill off the monster, all treated in such a manner that is way over the top! Simply brilliant!' Please try again. I read this book sometime in the late 90s when it first came out. The book is truly terrifying. it's left to Agent Pendergast of the F.B.I, Detective D'Agosta of the New York police department and two museum employees, Margo green and professor Frock to work out the mystery of who or what is committing the gruesome murders before the exhibition party with New York's elite including the mayor and his wife begins and all hell is let loose. This shopping feature will continue to load items when the Enter key is pressed. I have read other reviews that complain about the convoluted cast of characters who seem to die and return to life at the whim of the authors but I think it's all about entertainment! There's something lurking in the sub-basement, it's slaughtering people and with the opening of the Museum's newest and high-profile exhibition looming, everyone is looking over their shoulder.
