Although plans for this June changed, the Odyssey family and Lak...Perfect venue for our dream winter wedding. The first night we were there the lake was like glass, and by the last night, it was roaring like an ocean!

From our first contact with Hannah and Kate they were both extremely professional, timely in their response, and always willing to work with us on ideas and requests we had. We had a couple things go wrong including our liquor order and miscommunication about when the reception hall would be ready for decorating - but everything worked out fine and the staff did their best to make up for anything that happened. I thought our room was going to be more of a cabin, but it was a glorified hotel room on an upstairs level of a lake house/condo. The food was delicious and reasonably-priced and the waitstaff were friendly and accommodating. My expectations were low for a Northern MN lodge, but this place couldn't even serve warm food, the food that we actually ordered, or the booze we ordered. Superior Lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful place to have a special day!iful North Shore, the outdoor options and the indoor space made this a magical day. The blinds didnt go all the way down, the toliet made overflow sounds.
The food was wonderful and presentation of it was lovely. I feel like this hotel runs simply on the amazing view alone. Thank you so much for the sweet and detailed note about your wedding! Cocktail hour was amazing with the lawn games and the fire pit, that continued after dinner! Getting to be on the shores of Lake Superior celebrating love was the cherry on top. Rooms had not been properly cleaned and no indication of a deep cleaning for COVD19. Other than those bumps, the wedding went great- we had no special surprises (especially none on the invoice) and lots of custom "things" like the seating arrangement, dance floor location, band location, etc went smoothly. We were married here, celebrates milestone birthdays and taken in countless Lake Superior sunsets from this stunning property.I stayed her for a wedding this past weekend and was expecting a really spectacular stay for the price. It was the perfect day! Thank you for making our day incredible! Thick dust on baseboards, stale odor and flithy chair cushions greeted us in room 212 upon check in. We had 145-ish people with a special seating arrangement and it was just comfortable enough. We've stayed here at least a half a dozen times. ;We were charged $50 for a cake cutting fee when we didn't really know.
